2012 London Olympic Tennis
Clare Wood, 44 years aged and former British No. 1, was appointed to the function of Tennis Competition supervisor four years ago for the 2012 London Olympics. “We are wishing to supply the best Olympic tennis event ever,” said Wood, “but we are not there to be better or worse than The Championships. Wimbledon may be the most renowned spot you might wish for. And to win a gold medal on Centre Court, the world’s most well-known tennis court, along with getting an Olympic success just contributes to the respect of being out there. It might not become more special.” The grass surfaces will be repaired with pre-germinated grass seed to repair worn areas after the Wimbledon Championships are enjoyed. The Olympic Tennis at Wimbledon will undoubtedly be held from 28 July through 5 August, 2012. Also coming up, the US Open Tennis Championships, which will be being placed in Corona, New York, from Aug. 27, 2012 through Sept. 9, 2012.
