Reading this book is like seeking in a window and watching the lives of the characters unfold just before you. Julia and Mac are two of the most complex characters Ive ever read about. They are not ideal, far from it. They have their quirks and each and every makes errors. Dolores and Frank as supporting characters were fascinating.
It was easy to really feel Dolores bitter anger more than Franks betrayal. Frank wasnt the most likable sort, but he was genuine. This is a single of the best books Ive read in years. Effectively completed Ms. Gaylord. It is with wonderful honor that I suggest Julia Fairchild to these who take pleasure in fiction and a genuinely very good drama.
