While you’re at it just give up the whole lot you. Yes, just sacrifice all of those foods you worship so dearly, just so you can get those unwanted pounds off once and for all. It’s practically a battle out there and your in the firing lines.

You’ve heard all all this suggestion on calorie burning before. Who do you trust? There’s a lot of information along with a lot of misinformation. It’s all confusing. Have you understand all the books, read all the magazine articles you can get your hands on and its still Greek to you? One article says this and the other says that. It’s hard to trust any of it. Which one is right for me? You ask. Well there are some unfussy things we can all do to boost our energy, feel younger and at the same time effortlessly loose the pounds that for some of us have just hung around for a long, long time. Too long you say?

So here are your first five tips to super-charge your calorie burning engine that you’ve got inside…

1) Love yourself Thin – Rev up your calorie burning by this unique never revealed before tip. Yep you won’t hear this too often but the best way to start shedding weight effortlessly is to love and accept yourself exactly as you are. Yes, that may sound crazy but it’s true. One of my favorite authors Louis Hay says in here ground breaking book, “You Can Heal Your Life,” that a lot of our weight issues center around us not loving ourselves or as she puts it, not hating oneself. Yes, most diets just don’t work because we just beat up on ourselves. We self negatively self-talk ourselves to death literally. How many obese individuals could actually recover their lives if they were to love themselves instead of tearing down their self imposed walls that they’ve built up. I know this to be true, because once I made a decision to trade my thoughts about my body and start loving myself then the weight just came off automatically.

Try this sometime. Stand in front of a mirror and say, Your name, I love and accept you exactly as you are. Some of you will bawl or laugh, thinking yourself silly. But keep this up day after day and see what starts to happen. Talk to your belly, to your legs, any spot that has an inordinate amount of weight built up, and talk to it with kind, loving belief. You will love your body thin!

2) Eliminate Soda – A crucial calorie burning habit is eliminating those carbonated beverages that fall so magically out of vending machines. One of the first things that one needs to eliminate from their daily regimen are sodas, even the diet ones. Used to drink Diet Coke like it was going out of style. If I smoked cigarettes like moi, chugged Diet Cokes, I would’ve been dead long ago. Look at this incredible fact…Government surveys have found that people who drink diet beverages average more than 26 ounces per day (some drink far more) and that 3% of diet-soda drinkers have at least four daily. Thought I was the only one that was addicted to Diet Coke, but I must not be, because go by any soda machine and Diet Coke is usually the one with that red light on signifying that there’s no more in the kiddy. I used to just chug one after the other until I found out that often times companies place an addictive substance in there that made me just hunger after more. So much for trusting the big marketers. Should have realized before that time what I was doing to my body. If I had just listened to how my body was reacting these diet drinks then I could have lost weight a whole lot faster.

In fact its been said that the ritual that is so often associated with diet soda drinking coupled with the artificial sweeteners that are most often contained in diet carbonated beverages act as a synergy of craving. Yes, making people psychologically and physically dependent – often times mimicking more serious addictions. Well, I could go on and on about this but it will have to wait for another time. Just please cut back if you can. You will do your body a world of good, trust me.

3) Exercise – Okay, you’re gonna hear it from me, like everyone else. Exercise, yes the dreaded E-word. I have personally been exercising for many years. This was often my only calorie burning action because I didn’t like to change my diet. My weight has gone up and down faster than a pogo stick on steroids at times. My health though has never suffered or been questioned. Exercising make me feel great especially after I’m done with exercise. Once I was ready to everlastingly lose the pounds by loving myself then the pounds dropped like a lead brick to the bottom of a well when I exercised.

Exercise not only increases metabolism but also regulates mood levels. You may or may not be a stress eater as it’s defined. For instance a stress eater might pick up a piece of chocolate cake at the store because this primal force within all of us hungers for fats and sweets. So a calorie laden bit of cake, we rationalize will help one to feel better in the instant, but we pay for it in the end. Guilt and pleasure all in a few tasty moments of sin. Yippee! Ugh! So keep moving and you will again be helping yourself feel good, adding life to your years and shedding more of those useless pounds.

4) Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day – It’s advisable to drink plenty of water. This is chief for anybody to normalize many vital body functions which gives you more of a lighter feeling, and will give you more energy. So if you take in plenty of this life giving sustenance, then you will be benefiting your body more than anything that can be added.

Here a good tip. Each day start off with a couple glasses before doing any other activity and you will at once feel a little full. This is great for keeping the pounds off, because you get the automatic feeling of near fullness. Your tricking your body into thinking its already eaten.

5) Last but not least – Fruits and veggies. Just like your good ole mommie used to say. Apple a day keeps the doctor away. Apples are great way to cleanse your body and keeps the calories down. There are many doctors and weight loss specialist that advocate a three day cleanse of just eating apples. The naturally occurring fiber contained within apples will have your body feeling like you have eaten more and kick your calorie burning body into hyper drive.

Include leafy greens at least once a day. A high-quality salad with darker green lettuce, like kale, spinach and romaine are great alternatives to iceberg. The darker the better with much more chlorophyll, which boost our immune systems. Good roughage to clean our systems out and will keep you humming along to meet all of the days activities.
