The rule of thumb everyone I know has always observed is once your kids are married with a family of their own you don't include them in your Christmas Card anymore. But then again, I have recieved pictures of Grandchildren in my cards. Maybe that is all she was doing. In any case, I wouldn't make a big deal out of it. Just let it go. It is annoying, it is odd, but confronting her may not be worth the bad feelings it will cause. You could always have a special picture taken just for your christmas cards and give her her first copy in her card along with everyone else. Or don't give her one at all. I would ask your husband if he knows why she did this, he knows her better than you do. Other than that, be flattered that she considers you immediate family and wants to show you off. Just let it go, it isn't worth hurting her feelings when there was no mal-intent.
