It has been a really interesting year for engineering. In 2010 we have seen some really exciting new systems emerge, new power players have also emerged, and former power players have seen their property diminish.I am already a huge Apple product advocate so using them delivering the iPad (which is what this article is being done from), iPhone 4 and the total overhaul of the Mac and iPod family I believe they are setting themselves to remain a huge challenger both in the desktop and notebook, smartphone, and portable music industry. Personally I think that with the year 2010 coming closer to an end that Apple is certainly going to be doing just great in 2011 with the discharge of their newest edition of Mac OSX coming in the summer of 2011.Now onto the giant internet search engine business better know as Google Inc. Wow where to start could be the real question when trying to determine what to first discuss about Google. Well we could start out with the fact that Android is becoming one of the most widely used smartphone operating systems as it is to push out a several years ago. It looks like a fresh Android smartphone is developing every week from either HTC, Samsung, Motorola, or some of the other popular cellular phone companies. They have also started publishing android driven pills. With the new rumors of a dual processor android driven smartphone thought to be produced in early 2011 it seems that Google Inc. Will probably possess a strong line of smart devices in 2011 the same as they did in 2010. There is also the improvement of Google TV to the already powerful choice of Google products and services. I’m honestly interested to understand what will Google produce next?These are just two with this years main power players in the engineering market. There’re several others including Microsoft who just introduced Windows 7 which is a significant development on Windows Vista as well as releasing a 7 Mobile, Verizon has improved its network and is releasing LTE which is a faster instant network sadly it’ll not be open to the total Usa just yet and that is just a small wrap up of what some of the power players are doing right now.In the next part of this collection I will be discussing more new systems and power players.
