Stairs in people’s homes are not the same. For stairs which have left or right angle twists or bends, or have more steps leading to the top of the stairs, you will find curved stairlifts in Exeter which are bespoke facilities specially manufactured to suit each and every specific stairway. All these stairlifts move by the use of a rail made of durable things, like steel or aluminum, and they’ve different cross-sections. For the smooth movement of curved stairlifts, proper care is taken to design them so that they can move along curved stairs with the smallest possible radius every time they pass corners or posts. Although the selling prices of curved stairlifts in Exeter are much higher than the prices of straight stairlifts, they’re essential in homes with curved stairs. Bespoke curved stairlifts provide individuals who have problems in moving downwards and upwards along stairs with a convenient means of minimizing their efforts and not leaving them to make strenuous efforts trying to overcome step after step.

More cost-effective alternative for homes with straight stairs is straight stairlifts in Exeter. They also move along long-lived material rails, but the rails are in a straight line and reach from the top stairs landing to the bottom landing. Hence stairlifts which are straight are less expensive than curved ones, as they are made and installed easier, and if modifications are necessary during their installation, these modifiations are just small ones.

All stairlifts are designed to match each individual stairs type, and the number and depth of the steps are taken into consideration. Therefore disabled and elderly people can easily overcome the problems of moving from floor to floor posed by the presence of curved and straight stairs, moving up and down with the maximum comfort and convenience. When curved or straight stairlifts in Exeter aren’t used, they can be folded up to take up minimum space. Folding up can be achieved via remote control, in order that the stairway can be clear for other individuals going up or down the stairs. Straight or curved stairlifts chairs are offered with a swivel function, to turn the seat towards the landing and enable the individual using the stairlift to get off. Clip seatbelts and footplates are two other additions to the comfort of moving by stairlifts.

Selling prices of curved and straight stairlifts in Exeter vary, as there are a number of factors taken into account to calculate final prices. A calculation can be given after the specific stairs are checked out and measurements for the stairlifts in exeter to be installed are taken.
