Glendale, California is a bedroom comunity of approximetly 200,000 residents, situated in between the San Fernando Valley and the San Gabriel Valley. In and of itself it is not a well-known tourist destination. There are no amusement parks, beaches, camping regions or renowned museums in the city. Of course you could just stay in Pasadena, Hollywood, Universal City or downtown Los Angeles but, you will find Glendale to be a lot much less high-priced and quieter with less targeted traffic and fewer parking difficulties.
By the way, if you are into shopping, this city is the home of the Glendale Galleria, a single of the biggest and best shopping malls in southern California.
