Solar Charger for Camping or Anyplace in the Planet!
I bought a Soldius1 solar charge last year to charge my granddaughters iPod and cell telephone whilst we exactly where camping in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
It comes with seven plastic adapters for charging 250 diverse devices such as energy-hungry iPods, Zen Micro MP3 players, BlackBerrys, and mobile phones from Nokia, Siemens, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, and Motorola.
The solar charger worked just like the manufacturer stated it would, and charged my granddaughters iPod in much less than 3 hours. Exactly where we go camping there are far more moose than cell telephone towers, so keeping the phone charged wasnt an issue.
This is an amazing charger, but with a 1.1 watt/6 volt rating youre limited to the
number of devices it can charge throughout the course of a day.
This reality was born out when my wife and I not too long ago took my granddaughter and two of her close friends camping. The camp website looked like a satellite shop for Radio Shack.
Attempt as it may possibly, the Soldius1 was no match for all the electronic gizmos these teens brought along. We undoubtedly needed A lot more Energy.
The Brunton Solaris 25 solar charger with 25 watts/15.4 volts worth of charging energy, gave us precisely what we required. Its high output solar panels charge almost everything from cell phones to car batteries. Best of all, it charges iPods and cell phones in half the time it took for the Soldius1.
When you consider the wide range of larger electric devices it can energy, the
durability, (they use these on the polar ice cap), and the speed with which it charges, the Brunton Solaris 25 is a true worth.
A single far more point – you can connect up to three units for triple the power.
Whether youre using a solar charger for camping or charging the batteries on your yacht, its tough to beat low cost and clean solar energy.
