I was always so busy working in the chacra, or cutting wood, it was only when I began to acquire a bit older. Until then I had taken Ayahuasca for all the typical causes of health, but that was all. After deciding to accomplish the diet I drank Ayahuasca severely but I didn’t see anything and did not think I’d learn anything but still I continued drinking every day and did not sleep. With only 1 day to go before doing 90 days’ diet, I’d a huge vision and I started to chant and continued through the night until dawn. I saw under the earth, under the water, and into the skies, everything. Possibly I was learning from the sprits through the diet but I didn’t comprehend. After that I could see what the matter was with people. I dieted pinon Colorado and tobacco first and then tried all of those other plants.This was in Bay Area, a Shipibo group on Yarinacocha, Pucullpa where I was born. After this I went along to Huancayo for six months to test my medication. Then I visited Ayacucho and then a took me to Lima to heal his wife. After 8 weeks I was taken to then and Trujillo Arequipa, Cusco, Juliaca, Puno. I worked with a physician once who was simply not to successful and every thing worked out well and soon there were people queuing outside her consultancy. Eventually I found Iquitos in 2000 and I’ve not had time to return to my family since then, I only send them money.When I get round to people blowing tobacco smoke it is to offer them arcanas, to protect them so that when things happen around them it does not hurt them or make them ill.Leoncio shows a (cautionary) myth?There was once a wise man called Oni who understood what each and every healing place might be useful for. He knew almost all their names and 1 day he found a liana and identified it as Ayahuasca and he learned to combine it with Chacruna. One night he tried it and discovered so many things that he continued drinking it. But because he continued drinking often and such a long time he stopped eating and drinking, and just chanted day and night. Now he had two sons and they explained ‘come and have breakfast Papa ‘, but he continued drinking Ayahuasca and when they tried to pick him up, he was stuck to the bottom and could not be transferred. So they left him chanting to any or all the plants every day and night and they noticed that Ayahuasca was growing out from his hands. Therefore the sons went back to their chacras and after a month came back again, to see their father. Everywhere Ayahuasca rules had twisted around him and however he continued chanting every single day and the forest carried on growing around him. After a few more weeks, he’d combined with the forest itself and that is why its called Ayahuasca, rope of the dead and in Shipibo Oni.
