All About Oral Cancer
Cancer that occurs in any part of the mouth, on the tongue’s surface, in the lips, inside the cheek, in the gums, in the roof and floor of the mouth, in the tonsils, and also the salivary glands is known as Oral Cancer. Men get oral cancer twice as often as women do, particularly men older than 40.

Surgery, radiation and chemotherapy are the treatment options for oral cancer diseases. Surgery depends on the size and location of the tumor and it can be removed easily without any damage. Radiation therapy uses x-rays to kill the tumor cells and it can be used during surgery for destroying small tumors. In chemotherapy the drugs are used to kill the cancer cells. The type of drug depends on the size and location of the tumor. I case of larger size tumor cell it can be treated with the combination of chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
