Drakengard was released in English (it was released under the name Drag-On Dragoon in Japan) in the summer of 2004 and while the game never became very big or sold very much it became a cult hit due to a certain number of factors. Drakengard is an action rpg with gameplay elements very reminiscent of the Panzer Dragoon series but also mixes in Dynasty Warriors into itself and with the help of everything else surrounding the game, it becomes an unique game capable of standing on its own feet.
So that’s how I kwonstein would design Dynasty Warrior if I had the power to do so and of course if there weren’t technical limiations. For this one, the technical limitation is the fact that it’s going to be nearly impossible to make 300 units on one screen have brilliantly intelligent a.i. That’s gonna be extremely hard programming. But i think Dynastry Warriors game with such a.i. will be like my dream, dream game.
