Chakra Healing What The Ancients Knew
The energy whirls or energy points in the human body which receives, regulates and transmits the energy flow of it are known as the chakras. Chakra is a Sanskrit word which means a spinning wheel or a circle.
It is traditionally believed by the Hindu’s that there are nearly 90,000 chakra points in the human body. These however are reduced essentially to seven chakra points. These run along the spinal column from the base of the spine to the crown of the head.
These seven main chakra points are known as the root or base chakra, the sacral chakra, the solar plexus chakra, the heart chakra, the throat chakra, the third eye chakra and the crown chakra. These seven main chakras receive and transmit energy from the universe, as well as from other people. These influence all of the activities of the individuals, spiritual, emotional and physical.
Whether you believe in the Hindu philosophies and doctrines of human body function explanations or the Chinese medicinal beliefs or even the modern psychological research findings, the energy points or the chakras are the common thread that would bind all explanations and definitions.
Irrespective of your awareness, the chakras are in constant motion. This continuous flow of energy influences the major structure, appearance, physical disorders, glandular processes as well as our thoughts and deeds. However, if one of the chakra shows a malfunction or imbalance in its system, then it is bound to develop symptoms in other areas too.
It is believed that this is due to the chakras being connected to the endocrine glad that is found in our body. If a chakra gets off balance at all then we can have what is called a disturbance in the normal behavior of the endocrine gland and all that is attached or linked to it.
Now maintaining equilibrium with the chakras by utilising the above mentioned points in the introduction, we can confidently assume that the majority of the ailments or illnesses are related to chakra imbalance. Even though there may not be enough materialization of imbalance for illnesses, there may be certain concerns or emotions that influence us from our childhood, spiritually, emotionally and physically.
There are many people that say that one of the biggest issues with an unbalanced chakra is when people carry around emotional issues. These are generally from their past and in order for them to fix things they will need to address these issues to move on.
Thus it is essential to remove the emotional baggage from our minds in order to properly balance the chakras.
The human body requires chakra healing. By utilization of several techniques like therapy, aromatherapy, Reiki healing or using crystals, gemstones or a pendulum can affect chakras effectively.
