New marketplace to sell established online businesses
Chicago, IL – Venforo, the creation of founder Jon Berman a serial internet entrepreneur, will be a new way to buy and sell established online businesses. Think of it as eBay for selling web-based businesses.
Born out of Jon’s frustration and experience with the standard ways of selling businesses through brokers, venforo will enable like-minded internet entrepreneurs to easily list, promote, search, bid, buy and close on a variety of web-based businesses. Business brokers are welcome to participate but the essence of venforo’s modus operandi is for direct buyer and seller dealings.
This auction marketplace is not for website “flippers” or unproven online businesses. Venforo is custom designed from the “ground up” for business owners looking for a self-directed platform enabling the listing of established online businesses for sale. They can promote their business to potential buyers interested in taking an established ecommerce business to the next level over the medium to long term.
Currently under development, a full beta site of venforo will be unveiled during the summer of 2012.
