The Great Blender Debate: Blendtec Vs Vitamix
Vitamix offers seven years on some of there warranties. Blendtec doesn’t even come close to this. If you were to weigh two comparable Blendtec and Vitamix blenders side by side, the Vitamix blenders will most always weigh more. Not only are they built with heavier materials, they carry that large warranty with them. This is great peace of mind if you are either very rough with your n appliances or scared to death of an expensive blender breaking down on you with no recourse.
When these new features and designs are integrated with the flat control panel, a high-density polymer encasing and sealed housing and controls, the Blendtec Designer Series blender is easier to clean than ever before. Just wipe with a damp cloth and it’s ready to perform the next task.
So these are a few of the benefits to owning a Vitamix blender. In the next Blendtec vs vitamix installment, I will discuss how the Blendtec blender is the best blender. Only then can you decide which blender is the best blender for you.
Vitamix fans think that Vitamix may be the approach to go, but Blendtec fans argue that when it come towards the war in between Vita mix versus Blendtec, Blendtec is far better in that its units are far more compact and easily storable. Vitamix users contest this notion and point out again and once more that the Blendtec will not be at all as efficient nor is it as quiet as the Vitamix blender. Ultimately, the choice in between buying a Blendtec or a Vitamix lies in the hands of the individual shopping for it.
Vitamix blenders are easier to use than Blendtec blenders. That does not mean Blenec blenders are hard to use, it simply means Vitamix is easier to operate. Two power switches a speed/timer dial is all you need to learn with Vitamix. Blendec machines have LCD displays and pre-programmable functions that might scare you away if you don’t do technology.
There are definite advantages in the Vitamix vs Blendtec showdown that set each one apart from the other. You will have to decide which advantages are right for you.
While both blenders are heavy, the Vitamix is heavier overall than the Blendtec. This includes what I consider the more important component-the pitcher. The Blendtec pitcher weighs just over 1lb. I think it came to around 1lb 1 oz when I weighed it. The Vitamix pitcher weighs just under 2lbs. If you have weak wrists or suffer from any level of arthritis then the Blendtec blender would be a smarter purchase simply because it’s pitcher is lighter. That 1lb difference feels like 25lbs if you are small in stature and lack upper body strength. Advantage: Blendtec.
