My friend shoot somes clips of the NYE party at our place and I can’t get them to work in vegas pro 11. I wasn’t sure if he said to me that it was an mpeg4 file or not, in properties its written .mov files but only the audio shows up !

Hi Guys, i am facing problem for importing my .mov file into Sony Vegas for editing. Seems like Sony vegas didn’t support .Mov file. Is there any solution like any plug-in to install to solve this problem?? it always takes me lots of time converting .mov to Wmv or mpeg2 for editing.

.MOV files do not always work in Vegas, the new JVC cameras (HM700) records in .MOV (for FCP) format and they don’t show any video but do show audio, in fact QT players does not recognise them, there a codec you can buy that will do the trick though. MOV to Sony Vegas converter is so far the first and most comprehensive tool to convert your MOV in Sony Vegas Vegas (any version included,08/09/10/11) compatible files like DV, MP4, WMV, MPG etc with best output quality and fast conversion speed (no extra codec required, no worry about audio and video problem).

MOV Sony Vegas tool can be also used as an excellent video editing tool. For example, you can set the right aspect ratio (16:9, 4:3) by Crop, the proper frame rate (23.97, 24, 25, 29.97, 30 or 60) and resolution by Settings to fit the specific needs of Sony Vegas.
