What can I do to help with this christmas gift situation!?
my friend’s girlfriend bought him a $150 gift for christmas, but they’ve only been together a month so he wasn’t planning on spending more than $50 and doesn’t know what to do because she had the gift personalized so it’s not like she’d be able to return it. what could he do?

I say tell him to stick to his original plan of $50. You can still get some really nice things for that amount if you know where to shop. It’s not really about how much you spend or even what you get, it’s the effort put into picking something out.
